Who would you trust to sell you a fryer, tires or a even a handbag?

So are celebs trying to save on advertising by carrying their own designs or are they also being paid to model?

When going through one of many fashion/tabloid magazines I couldn’t believe how many celebs were photographed carrying their own bags. I wonder if this is part of the reason some of the heavy hitters send bags to them for free. I have to say that there are some people who should leave the art of designing handbags to the professionals. The following were my top three of who I would carry:

Jessica Simpson To my surprise I was going crazy trying to find out whom the designer was and if it was going to cost me months rent? Lucky for me and you - The Jessica Simpson Delfina Leather Hobo priced at $98. She didn’t plaster any type of JS or logos on it which I was happy to see and I consider this really an everyday bag.

Gwen Stefani really brings a little better quality in her L.A.M.B bags. She has a really big variety of styles and shapes which of course affect the price. The bag shown here can be used has a weekend bag, overnight bag, diaper bag, briefcase. The L.A.M.B Siena Tote - $825. I found due to the size and with how many times you can really use it was worth it.

Fergie really got my attention with her colors, affordability and just sort of free spirited type of style. Fergie for Kipling – Swell Duffel - $128 – I found her collection really suitable for tweens in junior high, gym bags, and plane carry on.

So although all of the above started with music they seem to have successful crossed over into designing.
