Darling bag devotees! Well hopefully for most of us the slog is over. After the harsh winter followed by the gruelling sales season, and a few hard core weeks at the gym eating alfalfa sprouts to get rid of the excess insulation, we are heading into the good times...so many parties and thankfully SO many bags and dresses! And of course the mother of all this year will be the IDHA, I hope you all have your tickets.

Design awards are the mother of all awards shows fashionably speaking. Its a bit like project runway and everyones a judge. However in the Handbag 101 family we are all very accepting and loving people..until someone carries a dull bag, or wears a dull dress! I have excellent news. This is the season of exhuberance joy and acceptance. You only need look at the SS08 Prada collection to know anything goes! ( the princess of precision is doing pixie pictures..the world has gone to hell in a handcart and Im going to ride the wave) YEAH dress like a pirate! (Gaultier) Dress up in the town hall flag and look like trailer trash! (Gucci) Go back to your old woodstock outfit (Chloe) and dont even get me started on the way the highstreet has interpreted 'Tribal' if I see another cheap bead Im gonna go back to my bedazzling days....

I know I bitch. But secretly ladies, I love it. GO WILD. I dont want to see ANY boring LBD's at the IDHA and you now have no excuse. I've given you 4 options for new and exciting looks to suit all shapes and sizes. Now for bags?...well you should be experts, so surprise me!!
