Well thank goodness it is FINALLY SPRING! I can now take off the heating
blanket I have been walking around NY with. As most of you know this is my
favorite time of the year, mostly because the weather starts to get warm (sun
worshiper) but honestly, mainly because APRIL is MY BIRTHDAY (and my bff Joy
Marie, my twin)… ok this will be the last time you here me say this but I am
turning 30! Little nervous (already doing preventive Botox) but actually really
kind of excited to be out of my 20’s. However, my sister and I have agreed that
we will be FOREVER 29, lol she is NOT allowed after this year to reveal our age.
As most of you know, each season I get 2 new bags a year… fall/winter and then
spring/summer (ok sometimes it is more then that, but lately I have been having
a shoe fetish) yes I am lucky because they are usually gifts, but I work my butt
off for them and we are WORTH IT!!! This season though I can’t seem to make up
my mind so I thought who better to help me decide then MY FANS… love all of you
by the way…
So starting off, because I am a Gucci Girl at heart, we have the Gucci Pelham
Medium Shoulder Bag, priced at $2,250. I have to say that the picture
doesn’t do this bag half the justice it deserves. Via the website you can really
see the white guccissima leather, the shoulder straps, and the gold hardware.
Actually, I have this bag in the Italian straw version they did circa 04’ and
bag still looks fabulous. It is also very comfortable to carry and the shape is
divine, very classic Gucci.
To follow, we have the Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Lin Croisette Marina GM,
priced at $1,500. Now this bag is just gorgeous in person. I have already done
the runway carrying this bag and it is the perfect spring/summer bag. The color
is totally different, the shape is totally different and it is just perfect. I
really love this one.
Last, but certainly NOT least, and yes I think I fainted in the store when they
took this one out. This comes in black as well, but no comparison. The Louis
Vuitton Mahina XXL, priced at $3,750. I know it seems like a lot but any
“collector” would spend this type of money if not way more. These are things
that will be passed down to my children or my nieces. Help me decide and hey go
pick something up for you.
Congratulations to Joy Marie and Salvatore they will be married 5-23-08!!!
OMG!! Sex and the City Movie hits theaters 5-30-08!!!!
