Now that the weather here in New York is changing, it is time to change my
wardrobe. I am pulling out the sweaters, the warmer jackets, and the many
scarves I own, I am contemplating what bag to use for the upcoming winter
season. The decision is becoming more and more difficult the deeper I get into
my closet; I cannot make a clear choice on what bag to use. I have my backups
like all of us do, but I am yearning for a new handbag for the upcoming winter
season. I don’t want to buy a bag to just buy it to fill my yearning desire for
a new bag; it needs to be the right bag that will carry me through the winter
season and the many more to come.
I think the major problem is that there are to many beautiful handbags to
pick from this season. With all the decisions, what is a girl to do? I think
then I need to start looking at what celebrities are carrying and what is trendy
right now; let's face it, we want to have a bag that will last us many seasons,
but still we want to be trendy at the same time. Right now I see many
celebrities carrying bags with hints of animal print and there are those who are
carrying bags larger then they are! The decision is tough because a bag can make
or break an outfit or be the finishing piece to an outfit. What makes the
decision even tougher is the known fact that a woman’s handbag can say so many
things about a woman; what kind of mood she is in, if she is a pack rat, or what
kind of profession they might be in.
So bottom line is I want a bag that can be both trendy and classic, to be
functional, can mix and match, and most importantly last me multiple seasons. So
the hunt is on and lucky for me I still have time and designers are still be
bringing in new styles for the upcoming holiday season, and who knows it might
be under the tree!

The Marc Jacobs blow it away, the style, the color, it just looks rich. That bag is a must have for me, as I am going to the website now. I also have to admit that I have never really been a Prada fan and I yawn when looking at that bag, it just speak to me. Good luck Betty but if these bags are your choices go with Marc Jacobs - Jai~Lynn from NY, December 14, 2006. |
