I don’t know about all of you but Gossip Girl is my new guilty pleasure and favorite show. First, I wish I went to this high school; I would totally be friends with Blair and Serena. Second, I wish I had both of their wardrobes and pure freedom in fashion that they display each week. Thirdly, I would totally date Chuck Bass. I know he is pompous, narcissistic, and crude – But he just needs to be loved.

The love triangles on the show are just great! I really am rooting for Blair and Chuck when she told him that she loved him after his dad died, I cried for her. I think the Humphrey family is like the adopted red headed step child of the show. They don’t come from the same financial, social, cultured side of the tracks as the Waldorf, van der Woodsen, and Bass families do.

Well enough about the show story lines, and what about the fashion! Lipstick Jungle, Cashmere Mafia, and Dirty Sexy Money (I did love this show) all tried but failed in trying to vie for our attention when we lost the brilliant mind of Patricia Fields from SATC but this show nails it. I have written into the creator and style director just for some helpful hints in regards to some of the arm candy that Blair and Serena carry.

I was daydreaming the other day and if I had to pick a bag for each of the girls to carry for school here is what I came up with. Serena van der Woodsen would be styling her school uniform with a Prada Vitello Shine Bowler, priced at $2,100. The shiny calf leather and chucky hardware make for a fall/winter bag. I have to say I haven’t always been a fan of Prada but the color, design, and construction of this bag really caught my attention. Blair Waldorf who is totally my new best friend (in my head) is always on the fashion forefront. There is no way better to do that then with the Prada Tessuto Ruffle Tote, priced $1,295. I adore the handles on this bag and the overall look.
