No more backpacks!!!  We need a practical premium designer bag which is something most designers need to start taking into consideration.  We can see a lot of students who go to school in New York, especially in Manhattan wear designer bag to school. Especially art or fashion school students do that. Not only students but many people who care the fashion or who are fashion oriented in New York think their bags they carry to supermarket, on the street or to the gym. We now carry more and more stuffs in the bag than before so we need a practical but looking chic bag. I can call this bag school bag.

There are some conditions to be a school bag but it does not have to satisfy all conditions. These are preferences to be a school bag.  For this first installment, the weight of these bags is paramount.  They need to be light! Most designers are so obsessed with hardware that the bags are heavy even before you put anything inside.  These days, size of bags are bigger and the ornaments are heavier so there are a lot of bags which look beautiful but too unpractical because they are too heavy to wear or carry. For instance, Chloe Paddington bag is so heavy due to the decoration of the lock. Balenciaga Giant bag is also too heavy to carry because of the studs.

That's a problem.  Here are some solutions.

3) Prada is known for their light fabric in the world. It was born to be school bag. The fabric has practicality in terms of lightness, waterproof characteristic and fashion. It has started with the simple black nylon bag but it evolved that there are so many style lines. There are so many light bags in their lines.
This is one of the classic black nylon messenger bag.
