Please explain how your bags are socially responsible?: Made from snakeskin which is a bi product of the food industry and in produced in the Angel Jackson fair trade workshops, the workers and their families have their schooling and medical bills paid for. Also AJ sponsor children in India where the leather is sourced.
Why did you choose this country to have your bags made and what made you decided to give back?: The directors love Bali and after the bombings saw the devastation and wanted to help the local people.
How have your bags impacted this community?: The workshops have provided many jobs to the local and surrounding areas.
What is your design philosophy?: Angel Jackson was launched in 2005 by sisters Katie and Millie Smith.They were adamant that it would be possible to create an international fashion label with ethically sourced products and good working conditions for its staff, whilst being recognised for well designed, stylish and glamourous accessories.Worshipped by celebrities and adored by the press, the label regularly features in Vogue and other notable and stylish publications such as L'Officiel, InStyle and Elle to name but a few.
