I am based in Warsaw, Poland. I graduated International School of Costume and Fashion Design in 2011. After that I was working for several clothing companies. In 2012 I started my own brand - Biskup handbags. For my designs I use only best quality Italian leather. My main inspirations are shape and nature. I have rather unique way of designing. I like to play with shapes until I got a base to create fully functional handbag. I think it's a design process that makes my handbags unique. I design for women who like to stand out in a stylish way. My customers appreciate modern, minimalist design.

After some time spent in clothing companies I felt it is not a good place for me. The lack of creativity and innovation was frustrating. In the end of 2011 I got fired due to company's financial problems. I felt that this is a time for me to start my own label. Why I decided to go with handbags instead of clothes? When designing clothes all the time I have to think about silhouette. In my opinion this is very restricting. While designing handbags my creativity is unlimited.

My handbags are manufactured in short lines in Poland. I also make special designs for individual clients. The beginning for young handbag designer in Poland are not very easy. I find it very hard to find good stockists. I think that sales and marketing are the most difficult at the beginning. Designing for me is the easiest part.

I can't imagine doing anything other than design. It gives you freedom and fulfillment. I hope that my best designs are yet to come.
