Carla Mancini an affordable luxury line, made in USA sold mainly in specialty stores. There is also a lower end Orange label that we sell to Gilt, My Habit, Rue lala, Haute look. Fred Segal carries the line, Joseph Wexner, Shoe Inn, Good, Ceri and so many other high end boutiques.

We use Italian leathers mainly, and we produce in the US. The walnut linen thread is our signature stitch and you can find that on every piece. I am inspired by women now days, that are confident and have style and not logos oriented. Their needs and the fact that they love the product is very rewarding, as they always look for the next bag that will make them look stylish and sophisticated. The hardware comes from Italy for black label and China for orange label. The leather is what makes the bag rich and I try sometimes to use less hardware as it adds to the weight so I try to make the product as user friendly as possible.

The line got started by my need to bring on the market a good product, and also my need to have a beautiful bag that excites me, so therefore others will be excited. The company was originally founded by my business partner Richard Elgrichi and I came along and brought my vision and together we have established a solid and stable business and a important presence on today's market.

I can say I make makes with a heart, people say to me the passion I have shows in the product. I use my vision and my heart and each piece has life, it is not just a bag it is a bag with soul that will be with you in so many important moments of your life and it almost becomes a messenger to how much I love to understand women and bring some pleasure for them as we are all mothers, working and have so much on our shoulders.

the nightmare in design is when a great idea is executed wrong, or produced with a defect, that is a struggle to have the right people that understand how important half an inch sometimes can be and has to look as I have envisioned it.

I think it is all worth it when I have customers telling me how they love their bag and have never gotten as many compliments on any bag. That makes it all worth it!
