Story: Our handbags pretty much reflect our style, life and
love of the 1950’s. We love hot rods, motorcycles, tattoos and the rockabilly
scene and feel our purses reflect our kitschy lifestyle. Right now we are
looking forward to Spring and introducing new fabrics and styles. We’re really
excited, Spring can’t get here soon enough!
We use quality materials within our line and they do vary depending on style.
Our target market is actually quite diverse, from 15 year old teenage girls to
ladies in their 50’s reliving a part of their youth! We get ideas and
inspiration from all over. A movie we’ve just watched, a show we’ve just been
to, or just a conversation will get our creative juices flowing. Once we start
though it’s hard to stop, we’ve been known to just keep working away. Our Cigar
Box Purses are lots of fun and no two are ever alike. We love surprising our
customers and using embellishments that you wouldn’t expect.
My sister, Rae, and I started making bags because we could never find just the right bag.
We’d like this part of one, and that part of another, but never seemed to find
it all in one bag. Now as partners we design our own, there are never enough
events/occasions to use them all!
We strive for superior customer service. It’s what matters to us most. We really
want to know what our customers think and love to hear from them, whether it’s
positive or not so positive. Since we are new - we know if you get back to us in
a few years, we will have more stories to tell than we will care to remember....
Our greatest achievement so far would be when we secured our first wholesale
account. We know a picture is worth a thousand words and selling online is
great, yet being able to touch, feel and see the product in person, you really
get to see the attention to detail that is put into every item we make.
