1. Nice collection. where can I purchase a bag? - Kim Cooper from NY, November 17, 2009.

I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela in an art filled house, surrounded by beauty and fine arts. And from an early age my mother a prolific painter, sculptor and lawyer encourage me to purse a career in design. I decided to study Jewelry, Gemology and Accessory Design at the Miami International University of Art & Design and the First Institute of Gemology and Jewelry School of Florida. An after much travels and experiencing different cities I finally move to Madrid where my business partner Esther Garcia and I decided to merge our different experiences and education to create a luxury brand that would reflect our outlook towards life, love of exotic skins and above all craftsmanship. And that is how Ayzza the brand was born.

The story and inspiration behind this collection it is really all about color. We believe that in order to absorb and irradiate positive energy there is no better way than through color. Therefore, we chose a jewel-tone color palette in order to stimulate balance and harmony. We took a something-for-everyone approach for the most discerning and stylish women of any age. The collection comes in an array of silhouettes: from large constructed and slouchy day bags to large and small clutches. A line of understated statement bags inspire by European sophistication and American practicality.

The collection is made in python and crocodile skins, which have been hand selected and treated in the best tanneries of Spain. The skins are naturally dyed and the finishing is carried out manually in order to obtain more supple skins. The colors have been custom tanned especially for Ayzza in a bright and bold color palette. Moreover, the entire collection comes in white, our fetish color. All of the hardware is made in 18kt gold plated and each bag is lined with our signature gold satin fabric. Additionally, we love the idea of giving a little extra to our clients. Therefore, all of our day bags come with removable pouchettes and the clutches with credit card holders.

And regarding a nightmare story, I think almost every day you have a mini nightmare story when you are a fashion designer since you depend so much on others: suppliers, factories, curriers, banks, etc. Sometimes, it can be really stressful but I always tried to focus on the end result since I am very great full to do what I love the most so for me It is all worth it. The greatest achievement has been launching Ayzza with my business partner Esther and the process of learning all aspects of starting a new business and the confidence it has given me.
