"Blurring the line between art and fashion, di mano leather goods juxtapose luxurious materials and handcrafted detailing with an irreverent nod to pop culture. While inspiration ranges from mermaids and elephant taxis to nobility and love letters, each di mano design is a unique interpretation of a theme - a theme that is incorporated throughout the design process. Italian for “by hand, di mano prides itself on 100 percent hand-sewn bespoke leather goods. From individually-cut patterns to silk and wool imported yarns and threads, the production of di mano leather accessories is a painstakingly human creation. Each project involves a personal, collaborative process with the client, resulting in one-of-a-kind creations reflective of the individual. It is this hands-on process that allows for the singularity, beauty, and creativity that epitomize the di mano brand."

All the pieces I create under the label "di mano" are one of a kind bespoke items. I have not produced a "line" of bags, but instead personal pieces for each client I work with. all of my work is based in a variety of quality leathers and other materials are only used as accent. my material choice is strictly based on quality. my target audience is made up of those who exude a certain sense of confidence as well as care about quality, individuality, detail and character... and are not afraid to pay for it! To me its all about bringing your A game, nothing less. I started creating leather goods to quench my creative thirst while at the same time helping my lovely girlfriend display her amazing sense of style. The most important thing I hope people understand about the work I create is that its totally one of a kind and sewn by hand! I don't use any machines at all and every step of every item is original. From the inspiration, design process and pattern to the choice of materials, construction techniques and production, I personally can't stand when something is considered one of a kind or bespoke because you choose a stock pattern or color. To me every project I work on is a nightmare and a dream at some point.. Every piece I create is a exploration, challenge and learning experience in some way. I put everything I have physically, mentally and emotionally into these items because those are the most important and highest quality "material" I can work with! I create because I have to, not to achieve or find worth. It is completely to keep myself sane!
