I currently have 15 designs in my handbag line. I began with eight designs, which were really well received. I try to match the color of the handbag to the design, rather than having one design in several colors. My goal is to provide beautiful, well made, functional handbags that are affordable. My handbags are designed for anyone who loves bags. They are an affordable splurge! Made with quality leather, they maintains their integrity and shape the more the bags are used. The lining is cotton and the unique hardware is either brass, gold, or silver.

I have always loved handbags and sold another line for four years. I received lots of feedback from women about what they were looking for in a handbag. I also developed many of my own ideas and decided that I was creative and inspired and could sell my own line of handbags. I was often teased by friends for being such a handbag buff!  My handbags are named after family and friends who inspire me. One handbag is named for a student I taught in elementary school, who is now a university student studying astronomy and physics. Three are named for my mother and sisters who have always encouraged me, especially in my handbag endeavor.

In the beginning, the thought of the financial and personal investment involved in this endeavor was a little nerve-wracking but the success and satisfaction gained have helped overcome any bumps along the road. I think my greatest achievement is seeing my handbag line come to fruition and the positive feedback and encouragement I get from people when they see the bags. It's worth all of the effort when you can share in the success with your family and friends.
