Story:

Our handbags have evolved from our signature hand-embroidered motifs, with a very strong Art Nouveau accent, to hand-sewn and hand-beaded embossed leather designs. We've always had, and continue to have, a strong emphasis on unique body shape. At the beginning, we used poly-satin and raw silk, which were the only materials available on the market at the time in Vietnam (where our bags are manufactured.) At that time, we invested in very end colored thread for our embroidery to create the feeling of three-dimensional tapestries. As time went by, the marked evolved, and we were then able to find a variety of leathers. We combined the leather with embroidery to create our second generation of our line. We are now entering into a third phase, where the embroidery is becoming less prevalent. More emphasis is put on hand-sewing the skins.

My wife and I were creating hand-embroidered bed and table linens in Vietnam, and came upon this young Japanese designer named Akihiro Domen. We saw some of his first creations and saw him as a genius, and we were fortunate enough to join forces. Our line is very whimsical, the shapes very avant-guard. Instead of always using zippers, we at times create unique flaps to close our handbags. Instead of metal feet at the bottom of our bags, we actually developed our own standing feet, which has been a major selling point. Domen's backround is structural engineering, which is translated into most of our creations.

One achievement is that we have branded a brilliant unknown designer. Our further achievement is that we produce bags of an incredible quality that we are very proud of.
