Story:

I have worked in fashion development and a couple of years ago I was curious to know how to design and manufacture handbags. I attended SENAI, a course specialized in leather artifacts and several workshops on the subject. Nowadays I produce handbags looking always for the excellence in quality and design.

I sell directly to the end user and my product line is aimed for the day-to-day chores, very practical with a clean design and quite comfortable. I use leather for its durability and refinement. I also use recycled canvas because it is an ecological and durable material. The inside of the handbag gets the same attention as on the outside. I research to find differentiated lining, durable, practical and that keep the handbags identity. The metals are of high quality preventing usage problems and corrosion. The zippers (YKK) are made of metal or Nylon. This line was inspired by shopper bags, very practical, trendy, comfortable and durable. This product line is manufactured from truck canvas. The canvas is washed and disinfected keeping its waterproof features.

One of the toughest issues in this project was clean the canvas. The canvas was washed with a pressure water machine, hot water and soap. It took several cleansing stages to obtain the desired aspect. Producing a high quality handbag and good design is always challenging. It takes the blend of the chosen material with good design and high quality in cutting and sewing. My highest achievement was researching and working to obtain a top rate product line, material selection and people. A joint effort and search of quality, durability and comfort.
