I am a LA based designer that started designing handbags about a year ago. My line is based on vintage which is where I get all of my inspiration. I have had an amazing response to my bags, and I am looking forward to growing as a designer.

I have been collecting vintage handbags and clutches for years. I realized one day that I had so many amazing pieces that were in my closet, and my head began to fill with ideas to start a vintage inspired handbag line. the leathers were so soft and aged well which is what I try to stick to for the look of my bags. I use soft leathers, accents of python, many different colors of bengaline lining (you never know what beautiful pop color you will see inside an Erica Dylan), and I do use some amazing antique hardware that I found at an antique shop here in Los Angeles. My nameplate is made out of an old dresser pull, and I use hinges on one of my totes. The Olivia.

Something interesting about my line, it's all designed according to vintage. My hardware is unique, and every bag is named after friend of mine.  I have always loved going to thrift stores and finding a classic vintage designer handbag or and 80's clutch!

To be quite honest, I have not experienced a "design nightmare story" yet!! I hope I don't ever have to go through anything to terrible! I know there can be stressful times, but hopefully nothing to bad!  I definitely feel that the greatest achievement about this all is that I have my own business and I am able to share my own style, and designs and have woman where them. It's a great feeling when someone just absolutely loves something you have designed. It's inspiring and keeps your head full of ideas!
