I have been designing and working with leather for over 20 years.  I am now designing and creating one of a kind leather handbags and accessories. At this point my line of Escandalos handbags is being shown through fashion shows, home shows and selling to different boutiques around the world.

I only work with the finest leathers and unusual objects, including vintage hardware. They are all lined with suedes, and Italian chenilles. Because I make them myself my clients can choose whatever color or leather desired and I can guarantee the quality that's what makes them standout among the rest. My target audience is very broad. This is because all my work is original and styled to meet the needs of may different clients.

I began making handbags a few years ago when I was searching for a unique bag for myself, I wanted something different but all I could find store after store was the same thing replicas, knockoffs and more of the same. I decided to make one. As soon as I wore it, I had women asking me where did you get that bag? I received so many compliments that I decided this would be a great business. That's how Escandalos evolved! I would like people to know that when I say one of a kind I truly mean it because I only make one of each! As of yet I have been very fortunate to have had no negative experiences with my clientele...however I did have one horrible day when all of my leather sewing machines decided not to work for me. That was a nightmare because I had a large order to finish.

One of my greatest achievements is seeing a women's face light up with a sense of confidence when she's wearing one of my bags. And I would have to say that I was thrilled when I was selected to be featured in Handbag Designer 101.
