Therapeutic Magnets plus Timeless Design is our tagline. We are a handbag company that also encompasses wellness through the use of therapeutic magnets in each bag. Through continued exposure to electromagnetic radiation via cell phones, laptops etc our bodies can become unbalanced. These fields also interrupt our natural contact with the earth’s magnetic field. By carrying Bailey Handbags you can create an overall sense of wellness by balancing ions in the blood stream. These magnets also draw more oxygen into the blood stream thereby healing shoulders that may be sore from carrying heavy bags all day long.

All Bailey handbags are made of Italian Lambskin and use light weight lining and hardware. Because the purpose behind our company is to reduce wear and tear on the shoulder we keep our bags extremely light weight. Lambskin is an extremely soft, supple material that has made many of our customers fall in love with the brand. Our target audience is any woman who enjoys design but, also has a keen interest in personal health and wellness. Our inspiration is always based around health and balance. We try to create a product that is not based on trends but, on timeless design. We want our clients to be able to wear our products for years and years.

I started my line after spending many years studying yoga, meditation and diet. I was amazed at how all of these things significantly affected the way I felt. I always had a love of art and design as well and thought it would be fantastic to create a company that combined the two. Bailey Handbags began with the idea to create a line fusing fashion and wellness and continues to find new ways to help it’s customers find balance. We have recently launched our online blog that will give tips about healthy living to the Bailey consumer.

I have actually been fairly lucky. I work with a fantastic design consultant in New York, Matt Murphy of Matt Murphy Designs and he has yet to steer me wrong. When I first started my business about 8 years ago I allowed two “design consultants” to charge by the hour and ended up with a bill you could not imagine. I have never entered into a situation where I allow anyone to charge by the hour. I always set a flat project rate.

My greatest achievement has been sticking with this project. I have had many sleepless nights and worried about how to move forward but, for some reason I always return to this business. I feel like it is a great reflection of me and what I value and have loved every second of this experience.
