I began designing handbags 4 years ago after owning a window treatment workroom for 10 years naming the business after my daughter JennaClaire who was 2 at the time. Since then, we have grown from my basement workroom to a retail studio location in Centerville, Ohio employing one workroom manager & assistant, a production manager, 15 seamstresses and 3 sales & marketing staff. We are currently focusing on marketing online sales, especially our diaper totes & accessories.

We use both cotton & upholstery fabrics for our bags- we love the colors & textures! Our target audience is fairly broad- moms who need fashionable & versatile diaper totes which can be used later for laptops or work bag; brides (bridal party gifts); and we have a large target audience in the 30-60 year old range. We pay special attention to detail, and our totes feature a sturdy water repellant nylon lining - outer pockets on totes are lined as well.

I absolutely loved working with the more varied textures & types of fabrics and became instantly addicted to designing bags! We were featured at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards “Celebrity Gift Suites”! Knock on wood, we haven't had any production nightmares so far. However, the grand opening of our retail studio location happened to be on a special holiday event in our business district, expecting 2000 people to come through. The company we ordered all of our shelving lost our order and we didn’t receive our display pieces until 2 days prior to opening. With the help of some very good friends and 2 all-nighters setting up, we were ready on time.
