My bags are inspired by my three year old, Sage. Her energy and imagination gives me confidence when I come up with a unique concoction of ideas. We enjoy using vintage rhinestone buttons to accent a fabric and every bag will have pockets because two hands are never enough to catch what life throws at us. I name each bag after an herb and just completed our latest addition, the Lemongrass Bag.

I'm relieved not to have yet experienced a design nightmare. When something comes out looking nothing like I imagined, I just go with it. Sometimes I have asked myself if it's worth pursuing a career as a handbag designer, trying to squeeze in time to sew between working and caring for my family. I got my answer when Sage and I walked into the shop selling my bags. She ran over to them and said, "Look Mommy, you made those pretty purses on your sewing machine!" I was quite proud of myself.
