Krina is about individualism, panache and self-expression. Our goal is to create designs that emulate uniqueness and independence, as well as touches of sophistication, to attract various types of women. Krina handbags have an eye-catching style that will draw interest from women looking for an exceptional bag to compliment their distinctive personalities. The Athena collection was recently launched in early August at “AccessoriesTheShow” in Manhattan.

The Krina consumer favors her own individual style, which makes her glamorous in her own right. Our consumer’s interest today is not in prestige, but in true self-expression. She doesn’t buy for status; she looks for products that offer unique self-expression, quality, innovation, and creative flair. She’s strong, independent, bold and sexy. The design of Krina bags will enable women to use them on a daily basis. The bags are made from high-quality Italian leathers that lend themselves to the creation of structure, shape, and lines. I have added multifunctional compartments within the interior of the bags to make it easier for women to locate frequently used items, such as cell phones, keys, PDAs, and iPODs. Compartments on the interior and exterior of the bags can also be used for easily locating credit cards, business cards, and business security access cards.

I am fortunate not to have very many nightmares to report at this point however, I definitely had some challenges with vendors that resulted in some “harsh words” being exchanged! I was working with a zipper company and after placing an order, I requested shipment timeframes because I was operating on a tight schedule for a trade show. For 2 weeks after the order was placed, I tried in vain to get status on the order. Nobody was answering my emails or returning my calls. Finally, I got word back that the zippers I wanted needed to be procured from China and the order would be fulfilled in four to six weeks! I sent an “angry” email letting the company president know that I don’t do business in the haphazard way that his employees do, and I cancelled the order.

As a mother, I wanted to become a successful role model for my daughter, and show her that hard work and dedication can yield great satisfaction and achievement. A Krina bag is for the “thinking” woman, therefore, hidden in the lining of every bag is ‘a penny for your thoughts.’ It also authenticates that it’s a true original Krina creation. I love being approached about my bags when I am in public. When women compliment my bags and ask me where I purchased them, I am always eager to tell them that they are part of my own collection! Knowing that I can create something that has such eye-catching appeal makes my efforts completely worthwhile!
