Faite Designs was founded by Sally Steadman and Krista Golichowski in August of 2006. We just launched our professional website and are excited to begin selling online. Each handbag is custom made with the finest upholstery material and sewn by our experienced seamstresses. You choose the style, fabrics, linings, and trims to create a color combination that complements your individuality. We like to keep things simple, so your handbag will be complete in just three easy steps: choose your handbag style from one of our 8 designs, then choose your exterior and interior fabrics and trims and finally, enjoy your personalized handbag.

We only use quality upholstery material on our handbags so they are durable and unique. Our tags and zippers are black and all hardware is silver. Our bags are special because they are designed by the customer. We give everyone the chance to be a designer and carry a one-of-a-kind handbag. We also sell pre-designed handbags for those who feel more comfortable seeing the final product. We currently have 8 styles but are working on several more... including a baby bag and make-up bag.

We both love handbags and designing. We had this idea forever and finally decided to turn our dream into reality. Faite is pronounced "Fate" and is derived from the French word for Made. Since our bags are all custom and hand made it is the perfect fit. Designing a handbag with Faite Designs is fun and easy. When people on the street ask where you got your bag you can say, "I designed it myself with Faite Designs."

Working with our original seamstresses and developing the first few styles was a nightmare. Our vision and their end product looked nothing alike. We spent countless hours and far too much money producing bags that weren't sellable. We finally worked out the kinks though and LOVE all 8 of our styles. Seeing our handbags online and having our website complete is a dream come true. The best thing ever is the constant compliments we receive when carrying our bags around town. When customers write to us to say how much they love their bags and how great their experience was we feel so proud. It makes all the hard work we put into Faite Designs worthwhile.
