I am at a point where people are getting to see my craft, and I am getting better and better with my designs. I would like to have a much wider audience but I know with time people will know about Myrabella handbags. Every designer looks for the day when they can see someone else other than their friends and family wear their designs and truly that is most gratifying. It is always difficult when starting something from scratch and specially if no one knows who you are. but I believe I have something special to offer. I have big vision for Myrabella handbags, for right now, I am slowly working my way to see my vision becoming real.

I used cotton, silk, Pleather/PVC or leather like materials, as well as vinyl. Myrabella bags are unique in style, specially with every style, the stitches are different. I use all kinds of things that I can think of. I use stones, beads, buttons anything that will make it stand out and unusual. I also have the Myrabella name embroidered on the outside of the bag.

Myrabella is both the name of my brand and the name of my daughter. The idea started in 2004 after the premature birth of my daughter who weighed 1lbs 4oz. She was the smallest thing I have ever seen. She spent 6 moths in the hospital undergoing all kind of medical difficulties including 2 operations. Meanwhile I was inspired by this amazing miracle that God has given me and I decided to name her Myrabella. The name Myrabella truly means to me beautiful miracle and since my name started with Myr, my husband and I figured let's shorten the miracle and then translate beautiful so in the end, we ended up with Myrabella. Then came my inspiration to have that name known to everyone in a testimonial way so to speak. When she came home in 2005, I was preoccupied for that entire year and the idea did not become a reality until 2006. I was always interested in fashion though I never went to school for designing but because of my artistic abilities, I figured I could do it. For one of my sister's birthday, I decided to make her a bag not expecting to get any reaction. I could not believe the response and from that moment, I knew that Myrabella handbags was something very special.

Of course every designer thinks that their idea is better than the next designer. As for me, I definitely think I have something different and I want people to know that Myrabella is not just a brand name, it is very much a part of me and I pour my heart into it. For the longest time I could not sew a zipper on a bag. I always use snaps because it was the easiest thing to do. I was embarrassed to let anyone know that I could get the zipper sewn properly. But my ultimate nightmare was sewing the wrong side of the fabric and did not realized it until the bag was complete. Of course I had to start a new one. My greatest achievement in this process in actually learning to sew a zipper. My mom is a seamstress and to hear her compliment me on a job well done, that makes it all worth it.
