I look at handbags as an extension of who we are. When you think about the trust that you place in your handbag, you use it to carry such personal items and trust that it will accommodate you on a daily basis to facilitate your daily journey. A handbag says so much about an individual, so much that you really do not need words to come up with an accurate assumption of the person carrying it. Ex. if the bag is conservative, trendy, large, small, pink or cream, it all paints a picture and tells ones story. My line has grown tremendously! We are in Fine Boutiques and Department store all around the word.

I go out of my way to visit the finest leather shows in Italy. I look for the most unique leathers and leathers are a works of art. I am inspired by leather artist and when I merge my talents with a one of a king leather artist, a TRULY unique product is born. My customers know who they are and what they want! So I deliver just that. This goes back to why I started Babee d.  I wanted to create a line that was ageless, race less and one of kind. I wanted to create the one stop shop brand. A brand that is broad in it's offerings and accommodates people of all walks of life.

Regarding design nightmares, one time the factory mixed up the numbers of the leathers and my treatments were all off. The results were catastrophic! But I fixed the problem right away and kept moving forward... The upside of this entire process is that I get emails from my customers on a daily basis. They thank me for making my handbags. They call them works of art. This means so much to me because when I sit down to work on my collection, I think about what customer would buy this handbag or that handbag and how my creation will become a part of someone's life. I like to about my bags journey. It's not just selling a customer on piece, it's about building a friendship and being a part of their lives for many years to come!
