Amici was established in 1997 by myself, Marlene Friedberg and James Dunn. Amici mean friends, and that is who we are. A team of young talented individual who love each other as much as we love fashion! We’ve been dedicated to providing high fashion, without high prices since 1997 and this motto will never change. Our success is due to our loyal customers, our fans. They’ve made us who we are today.

We are currently focusing on clutches and large handbag styles. Clutches are perfect for a night out on the town and our designs are fearless, they can make even the plainest of outfits an eye catcher! Our favorite is the Silk Green Diamond Clutch (we've all saved one for ourselves). We’re fanatical about bright silks; they’re so luxurious and vibrant. Faux leather is animal friendly, easy to clean and light weight which is perfect when you choose to carry your whole life on your shoulder. And of course cottons; as they say, no mystery fabric, it’s timeless and is available in so many colors, patterns and textures we never run out of inspiration!

The other thing is that we’re all perfectionists! When each piece is designed everything is taken into account; lining, stiffener weight, zipper color, piping, snaps, comfort… everything! This drives our suppliers crazy but it’s worth it when we’re crazy about our designs! All designers would know this feeling well on all levels. The biggest nightmare is ordering supplies. We design a piece down to the lining and by the time it is ready for production, the fabric is out of stock! This is common for most domestic designers. Luckily we always find a way to solve the problem, so we always make sure our nightmare has a happy ending.

There is an immeasurable satisfaction when an order is placed, returns are extremely rare and the paramount to our fulfillment is receiving a thank you from a happy customer. Although the ultimate reason why it all worth it is the friendships we’ve made here at Amici.
