Isla Fisher: SHOPAHOLIC IN RED
Bridget Jones look out! The next best book has been made into a movie. Now, if you have read the "Confessions of a Shopaholic" series, you would know that it takes place in London - an accent that any decent Australian actor could master in their sleep. However, the word is that they have yank'a'fied this one and it takes place in New York. Pat Field is the costume designer so I guess it is worth watching for that alone. Isla Fisher who is perfect for the part is starring as Becky and I know will make up for anything that they screw up for already changing the theme. Here she is in a scene from the movie carrying a red leather Salvatore Ferragamo bag that fortunately and theoretically, you know she can't afford. Sex and the City look out!
